PG County Transfer Fee

Yes typically these charges are split 50/50. There is county and state transfer tax and recordation tax also. First time buyers in Maryland are exempt from the state transfer tax. Sellers always pay all three. The price of the house determines the final cost as most counted now have one rate below 500k and a higher one above it. I believe PG is one of those counties. Hope this was helpful and please let us know if there are follow up questions.
